-    Read job cards to determine: job status, work authorization/limitations, estimate, description 
of problems and/or work scope
-    Test electro-mechanical equipment to troubleshoot known or suspected problems using
various methods on HVAC assemblies
-    Disassemble equipment noting parts identification, configuration and condition
-    Clean equipment assemblies as needed through various method and steps, including but not 
limited to parts washers, steam cleaners, glass and sand blasters, etc.
-    Measure for and note proper replacement parts. Correctly requisition needed items, as
approved by supervisor
-    Replace or repair worn or defective mechanical or electrical parts and assemblies, included 
but not limited to: compressors, motors, coils, copper plumbing, etc.
-    Retest reassembled HVAC equipment for proper output and/or operation as per specifications
-    Complete required paperwork for each job accurately and on a timely basis
-    Operate specialized repair and testing equipment including but not limited to: torch 
experience with silver soldier, grinders, drills, cranes, forklift trucks, torches, etc.
-    Observe all safety procedures and proper protective gear
-    Keep work area clean and neat
-    Occasional work in Field Service department
Job Qualifications
-    Basic mechanical aptitude
-    Ability to understand and retain various skill-related training and operational and safety 
-    HVAC Certification
-    High school diploma, some technical or trade school or on the job training
